Forum Title: Tigressa Perivalle III
We are considering Tigressa Perivalle III for 3 bedrooms. My husband and I are the only occupants of the house and there are no pets. I am concerned that the soft nylon will wear as well as other nylons in its texture retention and color. We have had a bad experience with a PTT carpet having a terrible soiling problem that would not clean up with professional cleaning and had poor texture retention. I am wanting to find a carpet with a good twist and density that will be a better choice. It was 3 years old when this happened. Our carpet in the den is a 10 years old nylon that cleans up beautifully and still has a nice look. Any comments on the Tigressa?

Until I physically see the sample, or look up the fiber, I will refrain from a solid opinion, haven't heard of any bad reviews of nylon compared to improved polyesters.

I think there are a few soft nylons and they have patented names in which the mills use to manufacture their brand carpet. I don't remember how they get the soft feel, probably from the way the fiber is extruded. Cut pile carpet that is walked on will look different from an area that is not walked on. There I said it.
