Forum Title: Shaw Caress - weight comparison

Have anyone checked out the new carpet by Shaw and they are called Caress.Caress By Shaw - Caress Carpet by Shaw I just checked Shaw Caress today at local dealer and representative knows that I'm big fan of carpet. I was look at carpet weight comparison - the carpet in my room is Shaw Queen of Hearts - weighted at 68.30 oz and I was look at Cashmere IV - weighted at 97.50 oz. The thickness are same but representative said only difference about Cashmere IV - more twist and more yarn per sq. yd. so make more heavier. The price isn't cheap, at least for Cashmere IV and Devon IV cost twice more than most regular Nylon carpet - $7.50 per sq. ft. compare to $3.50 per sq. ft. for Queen of Hearts.

I will look into it, always looking for something new to offer customers for side jobs, why would I want to install ordinary stuff, that's no fun !
