Forum Title: Is Tigressa H20 & Tempurpedic cushion worth the cost?
Hi, Newbie here and I am in the process of getting new carpet/padding for my home. Side note, I have pets, but very few accidents. I was looking at Tigress H2O and a Tempurpedic pad (pics attached). I just started the process and am using an estimate of 1,000 sq ft., and have 1 set of 10 stairs. At $5.35 a sq. ft. (on sale from $6.05), Tempurpedic padding, removal/disposal of carpet, & install, I was given an estimate of $7,500. This seems a bit high to me, but I haven't gotten carpet in a long time. I haven't found many places that sell Tigressa, so not sure if that's a bad thing either. It is for the living/dining room, up the stairs to 2nd floor, small landing & 1 bedroom. Any advice is appreciated.

Well thats a first for me. I never knew that Tempurpedic made a carpet pad. I'm all ears on this one. Really sounds pricey to me. That's 48.15 a sq. yd. Or is that the price for carpet and pad? Maybe I read that wrong. Daris

Daris, Some info on cushion:http://www.carolscarpetmontgomery.com/custom.asp?id=464958&page=201 That price was for carpeting/pad, install, removal & disposal of old carpet (basically the entire job).

It is the total cost: removal & disposal of old carpet, carpet & pad installed. Not sure of the Tempurpedic as the Tigress H2O has a moisture guard/gel backing.
